In my early years, my dad used to pose to me a variety of logic puzzles designed to push my thinking in a way that was engaging to me. I clearly liked it, and the puzzles kept getting harder and harder. In many cases I was not able to solve the problem unaided, and this gave me and my dad an opportunity for elaborate discussions.
